Grade One A2 Teacher Cory Week 11

 Week 11 (4/20-4/24) 


Monday April 20th

Hope you all had a restful and enjoyable weekend! Week 11 is now upon us, and we are moving steadily through the term.

Last week, we completed the listening and oral portions of the midterm exams. The students did a great job demonstrating their speaking and listening skills, and it was wonderful to see their progress.

This week, students will complete the third and final part of the midterm: the written test. This will give them the opportunity to show their understanding of vocabulary, grammar, and overall writing ability.

Please continue to encourage your child to review and prepare, and feel free to reach out if you have any questions.

1. Study for tomorrow's mid-term writing exam.

Tuesday

1. No homework to allow for flexible studying time. 

Wednesday

1. Write vocabulary 13-18 four times each and make a sentence using the new vocabulary.

2. Read the decodable story along with the main story.

3. Complete the weekly worksheet.

Thursday

1. Review the weekly vocabulary.

2. Write at least three sentences using the weekly vocabulary.

3. No test this week.

Friday

1. Write the weekly sentences. Make two new sentences.

2. Enjoy the weekend.
